At Mazari, women play a key role at every level—from housekeeping to marketing, construction, and leadership.
We recently spent an afternoon with them, stepping away from our usual work to chat, laugh, and capture some moments. It was incredible to reconnect, share stories, and celebrate these amazing women!
Here's a little glimpse into that afternoon and the team that drives Mazari.
What You Can Expect:
MEET THE WOMEN OF MAZARI
"What do you do in Mazari, and how would you describe yourself in 3 words?"

Angela, Director Analytical, Creative, Determined
"I oversee the teams from vision to execution, making sure our developments come to life just as imagined. My background spans science, fashion, and management consulting—an unexpected mix that’s shaped how I approach property development."

Ayu, Butler Friendly, Helpful, Adaptable
"I aim to make every guest feel welcome and taken care of at Mazari by helping them with any assistance they may need the moment they check in. I love making drinks at home, and I'm proud to say that I made the recipe for Mazari's welcome drink!"

Catur, Housekeeping Attendant Creative, Dedicated, Collaborative
"My role at Mazari is to maintain and care for the cleanliness of the villas. I am responsible for preparing the villa for guests, both inside and outside the villa area, so that they will have a comfortable stay with us."

Devi, Quantity Surveyor Neutral, Calm, Optimist
"I’m part of the management control of construction projects—analyzing progress until it’s finished. I’m so happy to be part of it from the start and see everything come together."

Lily, General Accountant
Ambitious, Cheerful, Curious
"My role as a General Accountant at Mazari Properties Group revolves around numbers—literally! I manage daily cash flow, reconcile accounts, and handle Accounts Payable and Receivable. I also support the finance team with budgeting, tax compliance, and keeping finances in order."

Pipit, Butler Friendly, Sweet, Responsible
"I make sure every guest has a great experience with Mazari. I love bringing happy vibes so guests feel good and enjoy their stay. What I love most? The friendships I’ve built and the rewarding feeling of a job well done!"

Suci, Head of Marketing Structured, Resourceful, Analytical
"I manage all things marketing at Mazari, with a focus on revenue-driving efforts like performance marketing. I also work to maximize revenue for our villa management division, constantly looking for ways to improve our marketing processes and ultimately boost ROI for both the company and our villa owners."
GETTING TO KNOW
We sat down with the team to discuss very serious topics like their superpower and 'oops' moments at work.

"What’s your superpower at work?"
🧠 SUCI: A sharp memory - I remember details that help keep everything on track. 💡 LILY: My superpower is synthesizing vast information into clear, engaging content for any audience. I adapt quickly, learn fast, and thrive on challenges and collaboration—like a brainstorming partner with an endless library of knowledge and effortless social connection skills. ⏳ PIPIT: I can work quickly according to schedule and finish work on time. 🔁 ANGELA: Shifting back and forth from directing creative elements like villa designs to not so creative elements like reviewing contracts and reports. ⚡ AYU: Quick problem-solving and adapting to change.

"Last 'oops' moment?"
🙈 SUCI: Accidentally opened a blocked allotment, causing overbooking, but fixed it fast! 😯 PIPIT: When we couldn't fulfill a very specific unusual guest request. We made up for it in other ways. 💸 ANGELA: Getting excited over a service quote I thought was surprisingly a great deal – until I realized it was in USD not IDR! 🧹 CATUR: My last "oops" moment at work when I was cleaning a room and, due to time constraints, I missed a spot. My supervisor noticed and we fixed it! 😅 LILY: I have not made big mistakes, but sometimes I misinterpret vague instructions or humor. It's usually a quick fix—oops moments just lead to me learning how to communicate better!

"What is the most random but useful skill you've acquired at work?"
☕ PIPIT: Making a good cup of coffee! 🔨 ANGELA: Reading construction drawings — something I never thought I’d need, but now can’t work without. 🐘 CATUR: Becoming proficient in folding towels and arranging toiletries. I can fold towels in different shapes like an elephant. 🤳 LILY: My ability to simplify complex technical ideas, especially when it comes to content. It's a valuable skill for bridging the gap between experts and novices, making ideas accessible and easy to understand. 🛒 SUCI: Finding the best deals online in marketplace. It's useful because it helps cut sourcing costs while keeping quality high.

"If you could swap jobs with anyone at Mazari for a day, who would it be and why?"
🙏 LILY: I’d swap accounting for a butler’s role. Transitioning from numbers to personalized service would be a fascinating shift. Welcoming guests with grace, ensuring memorable experiences, and mastering the art of hospitality feels both charming and rewarding. 📐 ANGELA: Definitely one of our architects—I’d love to spend an entire day immersed in design! 👩🍳 CATUR: I would be interested in exchanging roles with the cook team - I want to expand my culinary skills 💻 PIPIT: Reservations team. Because I want to know and learn how to accommodate guest requests and provide guest expectations when they arrive at the villa.
📊 SUCI: An accountant. I love working with numbers and setting actionable targets for the team.

"If you could have coffee with your younger self, what would you tell her?"
💯 ANGELA: Give everything your best but don’t let anything consume you. 🎨 DEVI: Keep an open mind and embrace new experiences. You never know where they’ll lead, and being part of Mazari has shown how diverse and inspiring design can be! 🪂 SUCI: Take more risks, not just for growth, but because real experience teaches more than any book. ☕ PIPIT: Just like with coffee, learn to appreciate the bittersweet and creamy taste of this life. 🤝 CATUR: I’d tell my younger self to surround herself with good people at work—collaboration is so much easier when you have a supportive team.
What started as a photoshoot turned into a great afternoon—we laughed, shared stories, and learned from each other. It was a reminder that when you’re surrounded by the right people, you do your best work and have fun along the way.
